Hwy 63 Temporary Closure- June 4,2024
Please be advised that Hwy 63 North of Mildred Lake is currently closed due to a serious motor vehicle collision.
At present, no delays are anticipated to Fort Hills Ground Transportation operations.
However, if the highway closure is extended into this evening, airport and BIBO services may be impacted.
There will be no changes to bus schedules at this time.

EVENT DESCRIPTION: Road closure due serious motor vehicle collision UPDATE: Wood Buffalo RCMP are on scene of a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 63, just north of Mildred Lake. At this time, both directions of the Highway are impassable. There is no detour or alternate route available at this time with no estimated time to reopening. More information will be released as it becomes available. |
