WestJet Labour Disruption – Tuesday Travel Update
WestJet and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), representing WestJet Cabin Crew, have reached a tentative agreement, bringing an end to the work stoppage and network-wide operational disruption. Strike and lockout notices have been withdrawn. The agreement will now go to WestJet Cabin Crew for a ratification vote. There will be no changes to the FIFO flight schedule for Tuesday August 4th. Travellers will receive itinerary information through SunLink and standard travel notifications.
