Fort Hills Ground Transportation Bus Changes – August 31st

Important Update: Changes coming to Fort Hills Ground Transportation Services effective August 31

Starting August 31, some Fort Hills bus routes will be updated to improve service efficiency and ensure that our transportation resources are used effectively.
Most riders will notice little or no change in their route. Frequency of arrival and departure, bus types and seating capacity will remain the same.

Here’s what’s changing:
The Fire Hall Stop #69 (Old Route #12) will be added to Route 11.
The Waste Transfer Stop #11 will be added to Route 9.
Reduce bus wait times at stops before departure to improve efficiency.
On Demand service will run 07:45-15:15 and no longer operate in the evening

The white Buses have a seating capacity of 44 seats. To help accommodate all passengers, please use one seat per person.

To ensure reliable service for all passengers, when the door closes, the driver will not reopen, and buses will depart on schedule. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early.

Updated route and schedule changes and an FAQ are available on Sunlink: Fort Hills – Bus Schedules and Routes | SunLink

These changes are scheduled to start August 31 to allow passengers to make any adjustments needed in their personal schedules.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Thanks,

Fort Hills Ground Transportation
