Hoverboards not permitted in aircraft or at lodges

Due to safety concerns, hoverboards, or self-balancing scooters, are not permitted at Suncor lodges or to travel onboard Suncor aircraft. The Suncor aircraft restricted items list will be updated to reflect this change.

The UK National Trading Standards organization says that 84 per cent of hoverboards tested were found to be unsafe, with an increased risk of overheating, catching fire or exploding.
