YYC Centralized Passenger Screening Opening Dec 10

We’d like to share an important update regarding changes to passenger screening at Calgary International Airport (YYC) that may affect your upcoming travel.

Beginning Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 0400, YYC will open its new Centralized Passenger Screening Point on the Departures Level of the Domestic Terminal Building (between Doors 4 and 6). This marks the completion of Phase 1 of the Centralized Passenger Screening Project.

What You Need to Know

To support this change, YYC has made several key updates:

  • Doors 5 and 6 on the Departures Level will be closed until further notice and used as emergency exits only.
  • Pre-board Screening Points A, B, and C will close permanently after regular hours on Tuesday, December 9.
  • New signage and wayfinding will direct passengers to the centralized screening area.
  • Customer Care Ambassadors and YYC Volunteers will be available to provide directions and assist as needed.

Key Details

  • Date: Wednesday, December 10, 2025
  • Time: 0400 (Wednesday morning)
  • Location: Departures Level, Domestic Terminal Building. Between Doors 4 & 6
