Non-medical masks required on Suncor buses in RMWB
Starting April 28, we are beginning to implement mandatory wearing of non-medical masks or face coverings on buses (including contractor buses) for our Wood Buffalo regional operations. Base Plant will begin on April 28 and we will progress through our operations as masks are made widely available.Why are we doing this?
• Non-medical masks and face coverings are an additional line of defense and can further limit the spread when paired with good health practices including completing the daily worker
• It’s an additional precaution that aligns with recommendations from • Alberta Health Services has suggested the implementations of mandatory mask use as a precaution and an additional level of protection.
Riders can wear their own Non-medical face masks or face coverings should:

Be made of at least two layers of tightly woven material fabric (such as cotton or linen)

Be large enough to completely and comfortably cover the nose and mouth without gaping

Fit securely to the head with ties or ear loops
-
Allow for easy breathing
-
Be comfortable and not require frequent adjustment

Be changed as soon as possible if damp or dirty
-
Maintain their shape after washing and drying
