Important: Flight Itinerary and Check-In Information
Dear passengers,
This is a reminder that you will automatically receive your flight itinerary and PNR (Passenger Name Record) 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure to and from Firebag.
To ensure this process works correctly, please:
•Do not attempt to retrieve your PNR early using WestJet’s online or phone systems
• Wait for the automated 24-hour email before completing your check-in
If you do not receive your flight itinerary and PNR 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure, please contact Travel Services at 1-866-276-7800 Option 3 (after choosing a language) or by email mytravel@suncor.com.
We would also like to remind you of WestJet’s new check-in and boarding times.
1. Domestic Check-In and Baggage Drop – Effective April 28, 2026
• WestJet domestic check-in and baggage drop will close 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure
• If you are travelling with checked baggage, please ensure you arrive at the airport early enough to complete the check-in and bag drop process at least 60 minutes before your flight’s scheduled departure time
2. Boarding Gate Cut-Off – Now in Effect
• Boarding now closes 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure
• Passengers who are not present at the gate at least 15 minutes before departure may be denied boarding
We strongly encourage all travelers to review their travel plans and allow extra time at the airport to avoid any disruption.
