Rapid antigen screening at Suncor flight hubs

Suncor is deploying COVID-19 rapid antigen screening as an additional layer of protection to maintain the safety of our workplaces, families and communities. By screening in our flight hubs, we can prevent the spread of COVID-19. The pilot has been rolled out at our Base Plant location and has proven to be effective in catching preliminary positive cases.

With frequent screening (e.g. twice/week), those who receive rapid screening will be able to know on a regular basis that they do not have COVID-19 and know that they are preventing further potential spread to their co-workers, family, household members and community. Every time we can screen, test and isolate a symptom-free COVID-19 positive individual away from our workforce and our households, we are all safer.

Routine rapid antigen screening will be made available in phases. Rapid antigen screening for Suncor passengers will available on:

  • April 28 at the Edmonton International Airport (YEG)
  • May 3 at the Calgary International Airport (YYC)

Routine rapid antigen screening will scale up to be a site access requirement for all passengers, including those departing from the Saskatoon International Airport effective Monday, May 10.

Details will be emailed to passengers with a Suncor charter flight reservation.
